Professional Background

Over the 20 plus years I lived in Boston U.S.A., I worked in many different settings – hospitals, halfway houses, outpatient clinics and private practice – and now have been working since 2001 in Girona, Catalonia. I treat people of all ages with a wide variety of problems, including anxiety, depression and relationship problems. I’ve led support groups for abuse survivors, manic-depressive patients and their families, cardiac patients, and therapy groups for women. I also directed a training program for new therapists and do private supervision.
Apart from my work as a therapist, I have practiced and taught Kung Fu for over 20 years. The physical and mental discipline of this martial art helps me understand the connections between psychological problems and physical symptoms.
